Casey Janssen has been outstanding in relief for the Blue Jays so far this season. Janssen had a hard time as a starter for the Jays last season so they converted him into a reliever in Spring Training and he’s pitched well. In fact, due to the injury to B.J. Ryan….Janssen is now the setup man for the Jays. In 18 games this season, Janssen is 1-0 with 1 save, a 0.81 ERA and a 0.99 WHIP so far. In 22.1 innings, he has allowed 19 hits and only has walked 3 batters. Look for Janssen to continue pitching well for the Blue Jays.
